just going to give fair wrning, the idea is offensive, and not socially acceptable to most.
I have a disturbing story idea.
There is a college student, Jack for now; he is study psychology and criminal justice in hopes of soon becoming a criminal profiler for the police. He is a very smart young man, but has one other major problem. He is a pedophile. While he has never done anything to any children, he has the urges to do so, but his whole life he has controlled those urges.
Lately there has been a string of child abductions and murders with supposed sexual reasons. He follows the case with interest both professional and otherwise, until the police knock down his door, arresting him for the abductions, since he fits the profile and they found child porn on his computer, as well as a connection to some of the victims. He easily proves his innocence, but then points out to the police some problems in their profile. He admits to having the urges to harm children, but to never doing so and offers his help to catch the killer.
The police accept, and he comes on to help. I won
